Two Mature Lombardy Poplars Reduced to 6 Metres

Two mature Lombardy poplars had outgrown their location and required significant height reduction to manage future risk while retaining the main stems.

Working above neighbouring homes and alongside the road, every section was dismantled in a controlled manner and lowered safely to the ground.

The trees were reduced to approximately 6 metres, leaving stable standing frameworks capable of producing new growth over time while dramatically reducing their height and wind loading.

The work was completed during one of the hottest days ever recorded in the UK. Plenty of water, apple cider ice lollies and good teamwork kept the crew going throughout the day.
